The HK HT HG Holden Nationals is dedicated to celebrating the revolutionary series of Holdens produced between 1968 and 1970.
This is an event where owners and enthusiasts can enjoy and admire these beautiful cars in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
All HKTGs, in any condition, are welcome.
New friendships are compulsory.

The HK HT HG Holden Club of NSW Inc. is proud to announce the 3rd HK HT HG Holden Nationals will be hosted at Mount Panorama, Bathurst from
Friday 29th – Sunday 31st October, 2021.

The 2020 event was postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions so we will be belatedly celebrating 50 years of the HG Holden and 50 years since Holden’s historic ATCC win. Norm Beechey’s win in his HT Monaro was the first time the championship was won by an Australian manufactured car.

The HK HT HG Holden Nationals committee will have a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place, and all participants are required to check-in and abide by NSW government regulations.
QR Codes will be available at Mt Panorama, and entrants will be required to check in at other venues using that venue’s QR Code.

Entrants and their buddies are asked to familiarise themselves with and abide by the NSW COVID-19 public health orders that are in place at the time of the event, and to check the NSW government website for details beforehand.

Event Itinerary

Friday 29th October, 2021

Part 1: 11.00am – 4.00pm: Entrant Registration, Scrutineering / Meet & Greet Event
– Registration and scrutineering for those competing on Sunday. Enter the Mount Panorama Race Circuit paddock area via the entrance on Conrod Straight opposite Rydges Hotel. Check in early to avoid the rush.
– Meet and Greet at Pit Hardstand at Mt Panorama Pit Complex. Market style food stalls will be serving food from 12.00pm – 8.00pm.
– Entrants can cruise the circuit at their leisure and take photos around the track. Mount Panorama is a public road so please observe speed limits and road signs.

Part 2: 4:30pm: Group Photo in Pit Lane
– All participants are to park in Pit Lane for an awesome group photo shoot. Photos will be available to purchase from the event photographer.

Part 3: 5.00pm – 8.00pm: Mountain Cruise & Pit Stop
– All entrants will cruise the Mount Panorama circuit together, a convoy never before seen on the mountain. Photographers will be positioned around the track to document this spectacular event.

Saturday 30th October, 2021

Part 1: 7.00am – 2.00pm: Show & Shine
– The day starts with a 40 minute Country Cruise to Mayfield Gardens, near Oberon, for the Show and Shine.
– Meet at the Mt Panorama Pit Complex at 7.00am and be ready to leave at 7.30am sharp. We will cruise in formation: HGs followed by HTs then HKs in this order, to expedite the set up for the show. Please ensure you have enough fuel for the day.
– All cars must be parked by 8.45am.
– Show and Shine opens to spectators at 9.00am.
– Food vendors and kids’ amusements will be present.
– There is 16 hectares of magnificent private gardens to explore.

Part 2: 2.00pm – 4.00pm: Observation Run (1hr drive)
– Enjoy the Country Cruise Observation Run back to Bathurst. Drive at your leisure and explore the country towns along the way, while filling out the observation run questionnaire. Points earned will go towards the Grand Champion points tally.

Part 3: 6.00pm – 11.00pm: Presentation Dinner
– Dinner and live entertainment at the Mt Panorama Pit Complex. The theme is Halloween, so feel free to dress up.
– Show and Shine trophies will be presented. There will also be Lucky Door prizes and raffles.
There will be a bar onsite so BYO is prohibited. Please drink responsibly as this is a family friendly event.

Sunday 31st October, 2021

Part 1: 8.00am – 4.00pm: Motorsport Event
– 8.00am driver briefing at the rear of pits. Events start at 8.30am.
– ‘Roll Racing and ‘Go 2 Whoa’ will be held on the main straight, and the Dyno Shootout will be at the rear of pits.
– When not competing, please enjoy the various trade stands, stalls, food vendors and kids’ amusements.

Part 2: 4.00pm – 4.30pm: Trophy Presentation
– Motorsport Event trophies presented.
– Grand Champion trophy awarded.

4.30pm: Event Closed

Wet Weather

Every effort will be made to continue the event by running activities that are possible to run without compromising safety.
NO REFUNDS will be given
All monies collected (after costs) will be donated to selected charities.

Bathurst has an abundance of accommodation options ranging from holiday parks, motels, hotels, apartments and bed & breakfasts.

Camping
In an effort to keep entrant costs down, camping is being offered at the Mt Panorama Circuit facility, allowing entrants to be as close to the action as possible. Camp sites are approximately 6m x 10m and have access to power. One campsite allowed per entrant and buddies.

Entrant Guide

At this stage we are unable to accept new entries, but we will make an announcement when this situation changes.

Judging

All entrant cars are eligible for judging at the Show ‘n’ Shine. Please provide as much information about your car on the entry form, as this will help us determine judging categories, or see the attached judging criteria document. You can also check the website for judging categories.
The judges’ decisions will be final.

Vehicle Displays

If you wish to have a display surrounding your car, please advise us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements. We have guidelines for the Show ‘n’ Shine event that must be adhered to. Display Boards are allowed however other loose items must be stored inside the vehicle.

Sunday Motorsport Events

All entrants are encouraged to enter the driving events, whether you own a stock standard 6 cylinder or modified V8, we ask you to participate. You’ll be surprised how much fun you’ll have.

Other Information

PLEASE NOTE: Mount Panorama is a public road, which is 2 way traffic. The speed limit under normal operating conditions is 60km/hr and is regularly patrolled.

 

2021 HK HT HG Holden Nationals Judging Criteria

Stock Class
The vehicle must be in a factory original state, having either undergone a full restoration or meticulous detailing of an immaculate unrestored vehicle.
Paint finishes, and interiors must be factory standard.
Nasco and period original aftermarket accessories are permitted.

Modified Class
This class caters for modified vehicles, including engine, drivetrain, suspension, body, wheels, paintwork and interior.
The vehicle must be registered.

Competition Class / Tuff Street
This class is for heavily modified cars, drag cars and burnout cars, over and above the modified class.
Permissible modifications may include high performance engines, supercharged, turbocharged chassis and floor pan fabrication, wheel tubs, race or performance tyres, roll cage, etc.

Survivor
This class is for factory or period original cars that have survived the test of time. It may be a barn find, a ‘grandpa spec’ beauty only driven on Sundays or an untouched daily driver.
The car must have most of its original paint, factory trim and drive train.

Rat
This class is for cars with a worn, unfinished appearance and modified engine, drive train, wheels etc.

Special Interest / Import
This class is for special purpose built cars such as ambulances, hearses, vans etc., and imports such as South African built cars.

No alcohol is to be taken into any of the event venues. Only campers are allowed alcohol within the approved campsites.

No animals are permitted into any of the event venues.
